Internet Services / E-mail World Wide Web AccessTotalFleet can be setup to provide your customers with remote access to vital information services via the World Wide Web (WWW). Your customers can enter new orders, check the status of orders, get Proof of Delivery (POD) information, and more. If you are an intermodal transportation company, you can provide access for steamship lines that do not provide an Electronic Data Interchange (DE) interface. Service examples include getting container status, updating customs and steamship clearance information, and entering new container moves via the WWW. The following links will take you to sample WWW Pages that can be presented to your customers. Remember that this information is for demonstration purposes only. You will also see a bullet that allows you to go to the sample company. To better demonstrate what the WWW can do for you, we have created a fictitious delivery Sample Company and the WWW pages for that company. Customer Service:

Proof of DeliveryTotalFleet can send Proof of Delivery information automatically via E-mail when an order has been completed. This can be setup in the Customer Maintenance window. When the dispatcher completes an order, the Proof of Delivery information is automatically sent without any human intervention. TotalFleet is E-mail aware! TotalFleet can use both Microsoft Mail and Exchange mail systems. TotalFleet will notify you when you have received new mail. You can send mail just like as if you were in your mail program. You can also quickly send mail to any contact you have entered into the Customer Maintenance database with just a key press. |
