Mobile Solutions offers TOTAL SOLUTIONS for commercial wireless applications through its service bureau operations. This includes a focused set of application mobile dispatch services, two-way paging, and wireless electronic mail. These services are deployed regionally. Service bureau operations will be performed throughout the continental United States with primary focus on major metropolitan markets that support advanced wireless data communication services. Over time and based on consumer demand, full nationwide service offerings will be provided by joining regional operations together. Service bureau operations are planned for transportation (trucking, courier), field service (utility, repair services), and health care (paratransit, medical services).

Mobile Solutions Next Generation Technology is utilized at the core of the service bureaus. This technology supports nationwide distribution of data from the beginning. Commercial service applications are offered transparently across disparate wireless communication networks. This capability is made possible through Mobile Solutions Wireless Workforce technology which translates dissimilar communications into common, understandable formats. As such, applications based on the Next Generation technology are resilient to changes in commercial wireless network availability.

Service bureau operations predominantly utilize widely accepted, commercially available wireless data services as their underlying wireless medium. We offer these services based on special rate plans negotiated with regional carriers for the exclusive use of data messaging applications on the network infrastructure. Example of corporations utilizing the cellular infrastructure for data communication can be found in the package pickup and delivery industry. Certain companies use circuit switched analog cellular communication to convey package tracking data from their mobile workforce corporate information service facilities. Alternative wireless communication services include Specialized Mobile Radio (SMR), Personal Communication Services (PCS), and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite.
